A New Dawn by Kamini Kusum
A New Dawn by Kamini Kusum
Title : A New Dawn
by Kamini Kusum is a short and sweet story , the book cover at the most
reflects various phases of the book and depicts the somewhat lives of the
characters and the main Hero of the story Shravan .Title of the story rightly
depicts about the phases and turns that life of the Shravan takes place and it
is right about having a new dawn at every new place all the time .
Characters : The characters in the story are bold and strong
, they have been rightly showing the emotions a normal person is actually
facing and it makes one to relate with how the feeling actually is in normal
circumstances .The story seems to be a nice one , and all the characters from
Shravan to Mugdha , Ramlal and Jhanvi
everyone has shown their own instance and strong point to stand upon .Every
character has rightly flown with their feelings and flourished with colours .
Plot : The story revolves around Shravan , a rickshaw puller’s
son and how life suddenly turns from a smooth road to a road that is nonexistent . life suddenly takes various turns , and how he fights every
struggle and shows his calm and composed character , It is also a struggle of
how low economic background people are often subject to harassment and false
accuses by the rich class , it also makes on to ponder upon various things that
a person has to do because of circumstances , and how suddenly some people have
everything but they turn it down because of various emotions , dreams , and
love .
Review : The story seemed to be nice and sweet , a lot of
turns and struggles were shown , but it couldn’t bring out the right emotions ,
the words I guess were too plain for reading and understanding and therefore it
turns out to be that it is not able to bring out the right emotions to the
reader , although the story is great , as individually it shows the growth of
every single character but along with that it also lacks many other things .
